Have you ever visited somewhere and said to yourself, “ I could live here”? Vermont is one of those places. The experience of fishing in Vermont is not just about the fishing. The beauty of the rivers and landscapes are breathtaking. The people are friendly, engaging and welcoming. Its just a really comfortable place. If going to Vermont on vacation or just looking for a great Fly-Fishing experience we have the guide and location for you close to St. Albans, Burlington and Stowe Vermont.

Vermont Vermont Waterfall‘s geography is primarily rolling pastureland, upland meadows and mountain ranges. 77% of the state is covered in forest. The forests are made up of conifers, northern hardwood and sugar maple trees. Vermont and the Green Mountain’s are a blaze of vibrant red, orange and yellow in the fall months.

The Green Mountain range is a bounty of high mountain cold-water streams teaming with Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout. Even on the hottest of summer days the weather on the rivers is often cool and comfortable. The rivers range from great pocket water streams to meandering tail-waters. The rich nutrient filled waters provide awesome caddis and mayfly hatches and result in healthy, hungry fish. Trips range from Walk and Wade small mountain streams for Brook Trout and Covered Bridge pools for Brown and Rainbow Trout to Drift Boat for big river Brown's.

However, Trout are not the only fly-fishing species in Vermont. If you are looking for an exceptional fall adventure, landlocked Atlantic Salmon are on the menu. These fish will just as easily take a swinging streamer or nymph, as they will a dead drift egg pattern.
