Squamish is the unofficial “outdoor recreation” Capital of Canada. Squamish and its rugged mountain areas are a rock climbing, windsurfing and mountain biker’s paradise. Get picked up anywhere in and around Vancouver by one of our guides and travel about 1 hour to the put in point for the raft. Our 14 foot raft is specifically designed for guiding on coastal streams and will safely take you down the river through breathtaking scenery.

 

 Fishing the Squamish River

Drop a line any time of year for Steelhead, Salmon, Bull and Rainbow trout while the late summer and early fall brings thousands of Pacific Salmon heading into the rivers to spawn. This area offers year round fly fishing.
In the winter months surrounded by the world’s largest population of Bald Eagles, you can fish for Bull Trout and Rainbows. Then in March those famous Squamish Steelhead begin to show!

Trips on the Squamish Include

What to Bring With You

  • 7 - 8 weight rods with fast sink tips (for bull trout and salmon)
  • 5 - 7 weights with Dry lines (for rainbows)
  • Spey rod (if you have one)
  • Waders (let us know in advance and they will be provided)
  • Woolies (year round)
